1. Booking and Payment:

  • All booking inquiries and confirmations should be directed to M/s. Travfolks Holidays
  • An advance payment is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance can be paid before departure from your home country, upon arrival in India, but always before the tour commences.
  • The amount of the advance payment is determined by the tour operator based on the tour details and booking timeframe.
  • Full payment upfront is mandatory for special train journeys, peak season hotel bookings (Christmas & New Year), and similar circumstances.

2. Payment Methods:

  • International advance payments can be made via wire transfer to our designated bank account.

3. Cancellation Policy:

  • Written notification is required for all tour cancellations. Cancellation charges are based on the date written notice is received:
    • 45 days or more prior to arrival: 10% of tour cost
    • 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of tour cost
    • 7 days prior to arrival: 50% of tour cost
    • 48 hours or less prior to arrival/no show: No refund
  • Written cancellations are accepted only on weekdays (excluding Sundays). Sunday cancellations are processed the next business day (Monday).
  • Christmas and New Year Period (Dec 20 – Jan 5): All payments are non-refundable.
  • Trip Cancellations After Commencement: Refunds are limited and depend on recoverable costs from partnered hotels/contractors. Unused hotel stays, transportation, and meals are non-refundable.
  • Wildlife Safaris: All wildlife safaris are non-refundable. Date change requests are considered cancellations, and no refunds or adjustments are available.

4. Our Responsibilities and Limitations:

  • Price Fluctuations: Any increase in entrance fees, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges by the Government of India after tour confirmation will be billed as an additional expense.
  • Agent Role: TourMyIndia.com acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, transportation providers, railways, and other contractors. All services are subject to their terms and conditions.
  • Itinerary Variations: Itineraries are samples and provide a general tour outline. Weather, road conditions, participant abilities, etc., may necessitate itinerary changes before or during the tour. We reserve the right to modify schedules for participant safety, comfort, and well-being.
  • Rate Adjustments: Our rates are based on negotiated prices with hotels and airlines. These entities reserve the right to modify rates without notice. In such cases, our quoted prices may change accordingly.
  • Hotel Check-In/Out: Hotel check-in and check-out times adhere to standard hotel policies unless otherwise specified in the itinerary.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays, program alterations, or incurred expenses due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, flight cancellations, accidents, equipment breakdowns, transportation issues, weather events, sickness, landslides, political closures, or other untoward incidents.
  • Liability Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property resulting from acts of God, dangers, fire, accidents, breakdowns, transportation issues, wars, civil unrest, strikes, thefts, epidemics, medical/customs regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
  • Travel Insurance: We do not offer travel insurance. We advise clients to seek such coverage in their home countries.
  • Personal Belongings: Clients are solely responsible for their luggage and personal belongings at all times.
  • Unforeseen Circumstances: We are not liable for any costs arising from unforeseen circumstances such as landslides, roadblocks, or bad weather.
