WAFI Mall (Oud Metha): Inspired by Egyptian architecture with pharaonic motifs inside and out, WAFI is a boutique mall with luxury brands, fine dining, and the spectacular Khan Murjan underground souk recreating a traditional Middle Eastern marketplace inside a modern setting. Beautifully atmospheric, especially during Ramadan.

Traditional Souks & Markets

Gold Souk (Deira): One of the largest gold markets in the world. Over 380 shops spread across covered alleyways in Deira, selling 18K–24K gold jewellery in every style from traditional Arabian bridal sets to modern minimalist designs. Also, diamonds, platinum, and silver. Bargaining is expected. Metro: Al Ras (Green Line).

Spice Souk (Deira): Right next door to the Gold Souk, the Spice Souk is a sensory explosion. Sacks and baskets overflow with saffron, turmeric, dried rose petals, frankincense, oud, cumin, and cardamom from across Asia and the Arab world. Prices are very affordable and vendors are friendly.

Perfume Souk (Deira — Sikkat Al Khail) : The best place in Dubai to buy authentic Arabian perfumes and oud oils. Rows of perfumers sell traditional attars and bespoke fragrance blends using oud, rose, amber, and musk. Have a custom fragrance blended for you a uniquely Dubai experience.

Textile Souk / Bur Dubai Souk (Bur Dubai) : Dubai’s oldest souk, lined with shops selling premium silks, chiffons, cotton, pashmina shawls, and fabrics from India, China, and beyond. Tailors can create custom garments within 24–48 hours. Also sells traditional Emirati abayas and Indian saris.
